Christian Rothe

I am Christian Rothe from Mainz, Germany, 24 years old and studying business administration with a focus on media and communications at DHBW as part of a dual study programme. My industry partner is Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Germany’s third-largest national daily newspaper by paid circulation.

I am interested in digital products, practical AI and the question of how an idea becomes a useful, working offer. I build apps such as RallyeApp and DHBW Planner, develop websites and write about real-world use cases.

Before my dual studies, I worked as a photographer, videographer and photo-and-film team manager — including work for Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. That experience still shapes how I think about stories, users and careful execution. I am also interested in international politics and economic relationships.
