2. Website delivery and hosting
This website is provided through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Accessing it involves processing necessary connection data, including your IP address, time of access, requested page, browser and device information and, where applicable, the referring page. This processing enables delivery of the website, troubleshooting and protection against abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.
Hosting and platform providers may also process data outside the EU or EEA, particularly in the United States. Their privacy notices provide information about recipients, international transfers and the safeguards used. Technical data is retained only as long as necessary for operation and security; platform retention periods are governed by the providers’ information.
If this website is restricted to authorised visitors, sign-in is handled by OpenAI. OpenAI processes sign-in and account data to control access. This website does not create its own user accounts or store sign-in details.
3. Email enquiries
If you email me, I process your email address, message and any details you provide to respond to your enquiry. For enquiries relating to a potential or existing contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
I delete correspondence once it is no longer needed to handle your enquiry, unless statutory retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require continued retention.
4. Cookies, analytics and embedded content
This website does not set its own analytics or marketing cookies and does not use audience measurement or advertising trackers. Images and fonts are served as local website files. External videos, social media feeds and maps are not embedded. For restricted access, the hosting platform may use necessary sign-in cookies.
5. External links
This website links to my projects, app stores and social media profiles. These services are accessed only when you follow a link. Their respective privacy notices apply to data processing on those services.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, contact me at christian@fotoadler.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. The supervisory authority for my place of business is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Rhineland-Palatinate.
